The Ecosystem · 4 Program Pillars

One Network.
Four Ways to Activate.

Each pillar is a complete activation scaled to your city's capacity and ambition. Every format culminates in a cultural exchange of local food, music, and art.

Cinema Cities
FEST
Discover · Connect · Celebrate
International screenings with a Hidden Voices track for underrepresented storytellers — culminating in a red-carpet Awards Gala and entry into MWFI's global festival network. All selections are IMDb-listed. Somewhere right now, a filmmaker is sitting on a story the world needs to hear. She doesn't need to be discovered, she needs a stage, a network, and a pathway to the markets where her story will change someone's life. CCN builds that pathway. City by city.

EXCHANGE
Culinary Arts · Music · Visual Arts
Programming can inform. Shared experience transforms. CCN Exchange is where that transformation happens, beyond the screen in a piazza, cultural site or room. When a chef from Miami brings cuisine from the Cuban/Caribbean diaspora to a restauranteur's grandmother's table in Berlin, and a filmmaker from Nairobi screens his debut short to an audience that has never visited Africa, and a musician from Jakarta plays to a crowd that didn't know her language existed this morning, something shifts. That shift is CCN's mission. Exchange pairs the culinary arts, live music, and visual arts of the host city with the global film program's city of origin, creating an experience of cultural immersion that makes every attendee a participant, not just an audience.

Our Guiding Framework

CCN's mission is anchored in five of the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. These are not aspirational checkboxes — they are the structural criteria by which we select cities, design programs, and measure impact. Every CCN city must demonstrate active commitment to these goals before joining the network.

4
Quality Education
CCN Labs brings hands-on filmmaking and technology education to local universities and communities in every partner city — creating access to creative skills that most formal education systems don't offer.
10
Reduced Inequalities
The films we screen are selected for one reason: they make you feel something about a life you've never lived, in a city you've never visited, told by a voice the world hasn't heard yet. The best undiscovered storytelling doesn't need a festival pedigree. It needs an audience. CCN provides both.
11
Sustainable Cities & Communities
We embed in cities long-term — building cultural infrastructure, not staging events. Every CCN activation strengthens a city's creative economy and its connections to a global network of peer cities.
16
Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions
Film and storytelling are instruments of peace. CCN's programming is a form of cultural diplomacy — building understanding between communities that share a screen before they share a conversation.
17
Partnerships for the Goals
Every CCN city partnership is a bilateral relationship — between CCN and local universities, arts organizations, city governments, and civil society. We don't arrive; we collaborate.
What CCN + MWFI Bring

What Every Partner City
Inherits on Day One

Cultural exchange, a global filmmaker network, and a direct path to US distribution — via Miami. Every partner city inherits a decade of relationships the moment we arrive.

🌐
A 50-Country Filmmaker Network
10+ years of relationships with filmmakers, festival directors, and producers across the US, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. CCN activates that network for every partner city.
🎬
IMDb-Listed Films from 50+ Countries
A decade of vetted, IMDb-listed selections — shorts, features, documentaries, animation — available for partner city screenings. Programming that would take years to build independently.
International Filmmakers — In the Room
Directors, producers, and cinematographers travel to the partner city for screenings, masterclasses, and panels. Real conversations. Real relationships built on local ground.
🏆
US Distribution Path via Miami
Films selected through CCN enter the MWFI circuit — screened in Miami, introduced to US distributors, streaming acquisitions teams, and international sales agents already in our network.
🍽
CCN Exchange · Where Connection Happens Beyond the Screen
Programming can inform. Shared experience transforms. CCN Exchange is where that transformation happens, beyond the screen in a piazza, cultural site or room. When a chef from Miami brings cuisine from the Cuban/Caribbean diaspora to a restauranteur's grandmother's table in Berlin, and a filmmaker from Nairobi screens his debut short to an audience that has never visited Africa, and a musician from Jakarta plays to a crowd that didn't know her language existed this morning, something shifts. That shift is CCN's mission.
📣
Global Media Reach
Every CCN activation is amplified across our international network — US entertainment press, festival community media, and social channels reaching North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
